Dans un contexte où la mise en oeuvre de l’intégration scolaire représente un défi pour de nombreux enseignant·e·s, cette contribution explore les facteurs favorisant ou entravant un vécu positif de cette expérience. Basés sur une analyse thématique de récits d’enseignant·e·s suisses francophones, les résultats indiquent que les expériences positives sont facilitées par les compétences des élèves perçues par les enseignant·e·s ainsi que par la mise en place de pratiques collaboratives, alors que les comportements perturbateurs des élèves et l’accès difficile aux ressources les entravent. Plus généralement, les discours révèlent des tensions entre une vision sociale/inclusive et médicale/intégrative de la scolarisation des élèves ayant des besoins particuliers, la seconde contribuant au maintien d’une posture externalisante des acteur·rice·s.
