Abstract
Cet article porte sur l’expérience scolaire de jeunes ayant un trouble développemental du langage (TDL). Les entretiens effectués auprès des adolescents et de leurs parents ont été analysés selon une démarche qualitative d’analyse thématique. Les résultats révèlent que malgré les quelques expériences d’affiliation significatives, les jeunes vivent de nombreuses situations témoignant d’une fragilisation de leurs liens à l’école et aux autres et d’une intériorisation des attentes et normes véhiculées dans le milieu scolaire. Rapportés par les participants, différents facteurs environnementaux de nature organisationnelle et pédagogique semblent jouer un rôle important dans la construction des écueils relatifs à la sphère sociale. En ce sens, les résultats offrent un point de vue différent sur les difficultés scolaires et sociales de ces jeunes.
