Abstract
Information obtained during earlier large-scale reconnaissance projects is here combined with results of more detailed remapping, supplemented by thin section analyses. Highly deformed sedimentary and volcanic rocks, exposed in five separate areas, are assigned to three units that represent the uppermost part of the stratigraphic succession of Wrangellia: The Parson Bay Formation (Upper Triassic) consists of thinly interstratified resedimented limestone and calcareous sandstone and siltstone with abundant replacement chert; the Harbledown Formation (uppermost Triassic to Lower Jurassic) consists offeldsparrich siltstone and very fine- to fine-grained sandstone; the Bonanza Group (Lower to Middle Jurassic) consists mainly of volcanic flows and minor tuff of felsic to mafic aspect with small amounts of siltstone. Spicular chert with minor calcareous tuff, exposed on northeasternmost Hernando Island, appears to be a Sinemurian facies equivalent of the Harbledown Formation. Granitoid rocks of the Coast Plutonic Complex, showing considerable lithological variation, intrude the three formations or are in fault contact with them. The Complex consists mainly of tonalite and granodiorite with lesser quartz diorite and minor granite, quartz monzodiorite and diorite. A major composite pluton, showing normal zoning, is recognized on central Cortes Island. The granitoid rocks are cut by swarms of phaneritic and aphanitic dykes. Two analyzed swarms of aphanitic dykes locally form 38% and 49%, respectively, of the rock volume. One swarm predates a granite inferred to be the youngest pluton on southern and central Cortes Island on the basis of its intrusive relationships.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
