Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The geological information is derived from regional mapping in the Mount Martin (NTS 95C/1) map area, as part of the Geological Survey of Canada's Central Foreland NATMAP program. Geological features represented by attributed points, lines, and polygons have been compiled into a GIS project suitable for stand-alone use, or integration with other data sets. User-defined attributes provide traditional geological map information with greater detail and enhancements such as explicit orientation data, lithologies, traverse lines, and notable features. The geology of this foothills area is characterised by sedimentary strata, of Late Devonian to Late Cretaceous age, exposed in a series of box folds whose geometry is controlled largely by the competence of the Carboniferous Mattson Formation. Permian strata formerly included in the Upper member of the Mattson Formation have been mapped separately as the Tika map unit. Upper Paleozoic and Triassic strata are unconformably overlain by Lower Cretaceous rocks of the Chinkeh Formation and younger units. Sub-Cretaceous erosion is a major control on the distribution of these units within the map area. The sinuous appearance in map view of major structures is largely due to en echelon linkages of smaller culminations. Nearly vertical bedding dips on the flanks of several structures may have led previous mappers to interpret thrust faults in some of these areas. In at least some cases, these interpreted faults are not required by the distribution of the map units. Purpose: Provided as part of a National Mapping (NATMAP) committment to compile Geographic Information System products. Supplemental_Information: Points, lines, polygons, and attribute data representing the geology of the area covered by NTS maps 95C/1 (1:50 000 scale) in southeastern Yukon Territory, southwestern Northwest Territories, northwestern British Columbia, Canada

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
