Abstract
L’étude des remaniements identitaires qui accompagnent le vécu des immigrants est particulièrement pertinente au Québec, qui accueille chaque année plus de 48 000 immigrants d’après les chiffres du Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion du Québec (2017). Cette recherche qualitative conduite auprès de sept participants s’intéresse aux implications du lien fraternel sur la renégociation identitaire de jeunes adultes immigrants. Les résultats apportent des éléments de compréhension pour l’intervention clinique et la recherche sur des phénomènes complexes reliant les trajectoires migratoires individuelle et familiale, les relations fraternelles et la construction de soi.
