Investigations of Wideband Microstrip Unit Cell Topologies at 28 GHz for Flat Lens Antenna Applications
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper presents an investigation into three different types of unit cells based on slot-coupled staked patch with resonant convex and non-resonant concave elements for flat lens antenna at 28GHz. The unit cell is designed to achieve an improved transmission phase-shift. Then, a wideband unit cell is proposed. The implementation consists of two octagonal-shaped patches with cross slot on the ground plane that are displaced exactly 0.46λ <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">0</inf> . This displacement produces two effects. It generates a transmission phase-shift of 340° with insertion loss of better than 0.2dB, and utilizes less layers, resulting in a compact profile. The proposed unit cell lens employs a simple and less fabrication complexity mechanism for phase-shift correction.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
