Abstract
Cet article porte sur l’identité franco-yukonnaise marquée par la migration qui se révèle à travers la création artistique et le récit. Menée dans une perspective de recherche-action, cette démarche a pour but de faire émerger par un projet d’art le sens que donnent des membres de la communauté franco-yukonnaise à leur identité construite entre le lieu d’origine et celui de résidence qu’est le Yukon. À partir de concepts propres à l’expérience identitaire dans la création, la recherche s’attarde au parcours migratoire raconté par des Franco-Yukonnaises selon la modalité de deux mises en récit de leur histoire : 1) par la création d’un projet d’art axé sur le thème de leur histoire migratoire ; et 2) par la parole avec le récit de vie. Ce témoignage émergeant d’une intervention en art s’inscrit dans une approche plus large de la recherche-action visant la compréhension d’un phénomène social.
