Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche collaborative menée par des chercheurs de l’Université du Québec à Chicoutimi autour de la question du développement professionnel d’enseignants titulaires d’une classe multiâge (CMA). Après avoir ciblé les besoins spécifiques de soutien et de formation, les chercheurs, en collaboration avec des conseillers pédagogiques et des enseignants expérimentés en CMA, ont élaboré et mis en oeuvre certaines stratégies d’accompagnement auprès de plus de 80 enseignants. Les résultats, obtenus à partir de bilans descriptifs, d’un questionnaire et d’un focus group, témoignent de l’appréciation des enseignants par rapport aux stratégies mises en place et révèlent quelques pistes de solution pour accompagner le développement professionnel des enseignants en CMA.
