Abstract
Este artigo tem como norte a fronteira e como são os desdobramentos da mesma no debate geográfico. A partir de levantamentos bibliográficos, objetiva-se estabelecer reflexões que permitam construir e aglutinar à Geografia noções sólidas sobre a fronteira, (in) diretamente presente na sociedade brasileira. Parte-se do pressuposto de que a fronteira – que, por sua vez, é um limite político-administrativo – não possui limites, visto suas inúmeras representações e desdobramentos. Por possuir singularidades, pode ser interpretada sob diversas escalas, sendo elas geográficas, sociais e econômicas, o que reforça o fato de que não há limites para a fronteira.
