Le conte oral a beaucoup voyagé pour atteindre les rives du majestueux Saint-Laurent où se sont établis, au XVIIe siècle, des hommes et des femmes intrépides qui, comme l’affirme le romancier Louis Hémon, ont « apporté d’outre-mer, nos prières et nos chansons », nos contes aussi et cette belle langue française que nous continuons à parler et à défendre.
