Abstract
Le Fonds Louise Dupré, conservé à l'Université de Sherbrooke, contient quelque soixante-dix centimètres de documents.En fait partie le dossier génétique du roman La Voie lactée (XYZ, 2001), auquel est consacré cet article.Après une description matérielle des différents états manuscrits et tapuscrits du texte et des documents qui les accompagnent, une étude génétique de l'incipit est proposée.On constate que l'écrivaine accorde une attention singulière autant à la calligraphie et au classement des différents états du texte qu'aux détails de la langue (épuration du style, recherche du mot juste, clarté, etc.).
