Abstract
<p align="right"> </p><p>Si bien la era de las tasas de interés negativas no parece haber terminado, al menos por el momento, sigue siendo un tema sobre el que vale la pena reflexionar, especialmente en un intento por comprender sus raíces teóricas, y particularmente a la luz de una posible desaceleración en la actividad económica en Estados Unidos y en otras geografías (al momento de escribir este artículo). Este documento examina la evolución de la política monetaria desde la crisis y se centra en las llamadas políticas no convencionales como la flexibilización cuantitativa (QE) y las tasas de interés negativas, argumentando que desde una perspectiva teórica, aunque neoclásica, ambas políticas están relacionadas y basadas en el mismo modelo de multiplicador de dinero.</p><p> </p>
