Abstract
Les Acadiens constituent une diaspora francophone très particulière qui, pour des raisons historiques, est essentiellement dispersée dans l'Est du Canada et dans le Sud des États-Unis, en Louisiane. Une fois tous les cinq ans depuis 1994, les Acadiens se rassemblent lors de congrès mondiaux, qui attirent à chaque fois entre 200000 et 300000 personnes. Cet article se propose de s'intéresser aux grandes caractéristiques du tourisme qu'induisent ces manifestations internationales, en se demandant notamment s'il n'est pas le prototype d'un tourisme diasporique que l'on pourrait qualifier de masse.
