Abstract
Durante o mês de fevereiro, comemora-se, na América do Norte, particularmente nos Estados Unidos e no Canadá, a história das populações negras. Assinalado como Mês da História Negra [<em>Black History Month</em>, em inglês, e <em>Mois de l’Histoire des Noirs</em>, em francês], esse período de comemorações, marcado por uma série de eventos políticos e culturais que discutem as questões raciais em seus diferentes aspectos e intersecções, foi o contexto de lançamento do livro <em>11 brefs essais contre le racisme: pour une lutte systémique</em> [em português: 11 breves ensaios contra o racismo: por uma luta sistêmica], organizado por Amel Zaazaa e Christian Nadeau (2019).
