Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Interactive refers to a new mode of documentary that is created and accepted through active interactivity with various multimedia materials based on Internet-based real-time cloud server. Especially since the mid-2000s, the Interactive Documentary, which has been rapidly emerging from France and Canada, raises new perspectives and discussions on the modality of documentary representation and its creation and acceptance mechanism. In this paper, we analyze the new documentary paradigm called ‘post-documentary’ on the extension line of ‘post-cinema’ discourse. We will also examine the concept and type of Interactive Documentary which is evolving into a new form of documentary, under the context of media convergence, transmedia, post-cinema and post-documentary paradigm. The ‘Interactive Documentary’ requires a renewal of fundamental and essential discussions on cinematic ontology beyond simple technological dimension.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
