Doreen Masseypropone el concepto de sentido de lugar para referirse a la serie de relacionessociales, económicas y políticas que operan en los espacios y determinan lospapeles genéricos que hombres y mujeres desempeñan en la sociedad. Elpresente artículo analiza cómo se utilizan las estrategias gráficas enCondorito y Mafalda para desestabilizar o afianzar los papeles genéricos y elsentido de lugar de hombres y mujeres, tanto en el espacio público como en elespacio privado en la sociedad latinoamericana.
