Abstract
Cet article propose une analyse géocritique des mangroves mahoraises dans la littérature francophone, dans le cadre du projet interdisciplinaire Fondation de France ARESMA (Agir pour la Résilience des Systèmes socio-écologiques de Mangroves de Mayotte). On croise les représentations endogènes, exogènes et allogènes de ces forêts menacées pour mieux en comprendre les pratiques et les imaginaires contrastés (locus horribilis, mirabilis ou duplex) et en débattre. La géocritique postulant en l’existence d’interactions entre les lieux référentiels et leurs représentations dans les textes, cette analyse multifocale aura quelque chance d’effet sur la réalité des pratiques (déconstruction des représentations simplistes et reconstruction d’autres plus élaborées).
