Le nouveau bâtiment de La contemporaine – Bibliothèque, archives, musée des mondes contemporains , sera ouvert au public en 2021, sur le campus de Nanterre. La revue Matériaux a rencontré son architecte, Bruno Gaudin. L’entretien est précédé d’une présentation du projet et de ses objectifs : construire une « nouvelle BDIC » qui permette de rassembler en un même lieu des fonds pensés pour former une même collection mais conservés de fait sur deux sites distants depuis plusieurs décennies.
