Abstract
Investigation of the Psychometric Properties of Mindful Attention Awareness Scale in a Group of AdolescentsAmaç: Ergenlik fiziksel, bilişsel ve duygusal değişimlerin görüldüğü, bununla birlikte stres duyarlılığının artığı bir dönemdir.Çalışmanın amacı, ergenlerde Bilinçli Farkındalık Ölçeği'nin (BİFÖ) psikometrik özelliklerini değerlendirmektir.Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya 14-17 yaş aralığında 687 ergen (%52 kız, n=357) katılmıştır.BİFÖ, çocuklar için depresyon ölçeği, güçler ve güçlükler anketi öz bildirim formu kullanılmıştır.BİFÖ'nün ergen yaş grubu için Cronbach alfa değeri hesaplanmış ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) yapılmıştır.Depresif belirtilere göre, bilinçli farkındalık ve ruhsal değişkenlerin yordayıcı etkisi ikili durum (binary) regresyon analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: BİFÖ'nün, Cronbach alfa değeri, DFA ve test tekrar test sonuçları 14-17 yaş ergenler için güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğunu göstermiştir.Bilinçli farkındalık düzeyi, dikkat eksikliği ve hiperaktivite bozukluğu, duygusal, davranım sorunları ve akran ilişki sorunları ile sosyal davranış yetenekleri ergen yaş grubunda depresyon ile anlamlı ilişkiler göstermektedir.Sonuç: Çalışmada BİFÖ'nün ergen yaş grubunda psikometrik özelliklerinin iyi olduğu ve bu yaş grubunda güvenle kullanılabileceği gösterilmiştir.Bilinçli farkındalığı artırıcı terapötik müdahaleler, ergen depresyon sağaltımında faydalı olabilir.Ergenlik döneminde görülen içselleştirme ve dışsallaştırma sorunlarının erken fark edilmesinin ve bu sorunlara etkin müdahalelerde bulunulmasının da depresyon gelişiminde önleyici etkiye sahip olabileceği düşünülmektedir.
