Le but de la presente etude etait d’evaluer les effets de deux programmes d’entrainement (lecture seulement et lecture-musique) sur l’apprentissage de la lecture d’eleves de 2e annee. Un design quasi experimental avec pretest et posttest a ete employe. Les participants (n=94) ont ete divises en trois groupes : lecture seulement (LS) (n=44), lecture-musique (LM) (n=34) et controle (n=16). Les programmes experimentaux ont pris place pendant quatre mois a raison de trois periodes par cycle de dix jours. Il semblerait que les programmes LS et LM ont eu un effet favorable sur la precision en lecture, alors que tous les groupes se sont significativement ameliores en comprehension, en dechiffrement et en vitesse de lecture. Des pistes d’explication sont fournies dans la discussion. Mots-cles : Apprentissage de la lecture; apprentissage de la musique; debut du primaire.
