Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper discusses the fundamental pedagogical objectives and methodologies that were employed
\nin a graduate level interior design studio to expand the boundaries of applicability of the profession
\nand to encourage multi-dimensional design strategies. As science and technology continue to accelerate
\nand to change our society, design has become the primary mediator in the implementation of these
\nchanges in our daily lives. The role of designer has changed from primary form generator to interpreter
\nof the new, emerging reality which is informed by science and technology. As a consequence, designers
\nhave begun to assume a prominent role in society as the intermediaries of the need of contemporary
\nculture for synthesis. The change in the pedagogical objectives of design disciplinary studies is
\ninescapable and must respond to the evolving role of the designers. The current study explores this
\nevolution and provides a platform for illustrating an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to design
\neducation where science plays a dominant role.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
