Abstract
La lecture des textes de Jeanne Lapointe consacrés en totalité ou en partie à la poésie révèle que sa vision de la poésie repose sur le point de vue sensible et honnête du poète. Lapointe se porte à la défense de ce genre littéraire par lequel l’écrivain cherche, sans vergogne nous semble-t-il, une vérité autre, plus profonde que ne l’offre le portrait sociologique d’une époque ou d’un peuple, dépeint en majorité dans le roman. Lapointe commente la littérature québécoise en fonction de cette exigence de vérité et cite en exemple les oeuvres d’Anne Hébert et d’Hector de Saint-Denys Garneau.
