Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The discovery of the Mari archives by the French archaeologist Andre Parrot between 1933 and 1937 was one of the most important events in Assyriology, more than 20.000 texts were found. written in Akkadian (ancient Babylonian), most of which date from the first half of the eighteenth century BC. It discusses various topics, most notably administrative and economic affairs, including many letters exchanged by the kings of the city with the kings of important contemporary cities, and with rulers loyal or affiliated with their Amorite kingdom. The study included a study of administrative texts documenting the payment of a tax by a group of Bedouin tribal leaders to the Palace of Mary during the reign of King Zimri Lim, who controlled all the territory of the Kingdom cities, villages and pastures. From the Bedouin to the kingdom's land to settle there, these newcomers had to pay a tax provided by their leaders to the administration at the Palace of Mary. The clay figure discovered at the Palace of the Kingdom of Mary during the reign of King Zamri Lim documented that tax, which first appeared in the texts as su-ga-gu-ut, and the term su-ga-gu .The research will shed light on the cuneiform texts dealing with the documentation of the tax, its value and the names of its payers through the Royal Archives of Mary.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
