Analisis FFA (Free Fatty Acid) merupakan suatu cara untuk mengetahui kualitas dari Produk (CPO) yang dihasilkan dari Pabrik Minyak Kelapa Sawit. Validasi merupakan suatu metode yang dipergunakan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian metode yang diadaptasi dari metode standard yang berlaku. Dari hasil validasi ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode yang diadaptasi tetap valid karena Fhitung < F tabel, 4.2895 < 4.7472; Metode akurat % Recovery = 101.2422% (Standard, 98 – 102%); Metode Presisi RSD = 0.6592% (Standard, 0 – 2.0%).
