Abstract
Abstrak Permainan simulasi merupakan gabungan antara roleplay dengan diskusi kelompok. Pesan-pesan kesehatan yang dapat dikemas dalam bentuk permainan salahsatunya yaitu halma. Permainan halma merupakan permainan yang lebih mudah dimodifikasi dengan memberikan gambar-gambar dan materi umum maupun khusus dalam satu permainan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat sebuah rancangan permainan halma yang modifikasi sebagai media promosi kesehatan dalam upaya penceahan karies gigi anak. Metode yang digunakan yaitu membuat rancangan permainan halma agar permainan tersebut menjadi suatu permainan yang tanpa sadar bisa merubah pengetahuan anak, yang terbagi menjadi beberapa kelompok dan terdapat ketuanya. Di dalam permainan ini terdapat bebrapa segitiga yang memuat materi promosi kesehatan khususnya pencegahan karies gigi anak. Hasil penelitian rancangan permainan halma modifikasi ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh sebesar 19,6% dengan nilai signifikansi 0,013 (pada p value <0.05) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) kelas 1 dengan usia 6 sampai 7 tahun terhadap pencegahan karies gigi. Rancangan permainan halma modifikasi ini dapat dipergunakan juga untuk media promosi kesehatan lainnya, misal kesehatan lingkungan, higiena personal dan lainnya. Selain hal tersebut rancangan permainan halma modifikasi ini dapat dikembangkan bagi keperawatan, khususnya dalam promosi kesehatan komunitas dengan berbagai metode permainan yang unik dan menarik. Health messages can be packages in a form of games, one of which is halma (checkers). Halma is a game that is easier to modify by giving pictures as well as both general and specific materials within oe game. The objectives of this research is to make a design of halma modification as a health promotion media in the effort of preventing childhood dental caries. The method used is by creating halma game design so that game becomes a game which is unconsciously abtle to change children knowledge, divided into several groups and materials especially childhood dental caries prevention. The result of this research on modified halma game design shows that there is an 19.6% effect with significance values 0.013 (on p value <0.05) upon the increase of aged 6 to 7 grade 1 elementary school (SD) students knowledge on dental caries prevention. The design of this modifiedhalma game can also be used for other health promotion media, such as environmental health, personal hygiene, etc. Besides that, this design of modified halma game can be developed for nursing field, especially in community health promotion with various unique an interesting game method.
