Abstract
L’article examine la présence du tragique dans la réflexion blanchotienne. À partir du commentaire des fragments de L’Écriture du désastre intitulés « (Une scène primitive ?) », l’analyse met en lumière l’irréconciliation fondamentale de l’homme avec lui-même, qui hante tout le travail de Blanchot. La réflexion porte dans un premier temps sur le paradoxe d’un savoir de soi à la fois nécessaire et défait. Elle souligne ensuite l’importance du corps impropre et de la dénaturation dans l’écriture blanchotienne et montre que c’est tout l’être qui se trouve mis à l’épreuve par l’intensité d’un pathos associé à une disconvenance à la fois originaire et immémoriale. L’analyse montre dans un troisième temps que la réflexion sur le fragment comme dire de l’être doit être interprétée chez Blanchot comme l’expérience tragique, à la fois désappropriatrice et jubilatoire, d’une errance ontologique.
