Abstract
A ausência de nitidez sobre uma estratégia sindical que enfrente as mudanças profundas no mercado de trabalho e na sociedade coloca-se como limitação preponderante nas respostas sindicais à ofensiva liberal-conservadora em curso no Brasil. Com isso, as respostas ad hoc prevalecem, restringindo as iniciativas à busca da preservação das estruturas das entidades, sem qualquer ênfase sobre a necessidade de repensar a representatividade e o papel do movimento sindical na sociedade. Este artigo discute as respostas do sindicalismo brasileiro frente aos impactos da Reforma Trabalhista aprovada em 2017. Partimos dos dados da pesquisa desenvolvida pela Rede de Estudos e Monitoramento Interdisciplinar da Reforma Trabalhista – REMIR, realizada por meio de entrevistas com dirigentes sindicais no segundo semestre de 2018, para destacar alguns temas que poderiam conformar uma estratégia sindical de enfrentamento aos desafios impostos pelas mudanças no mundo do trabalho. O trabalho está dividido em três seções. Na primeira, discutimos os impactos da Reforma Trabalhista sobre o sindicalismo, no que diz respeito à representação, à organização e à sustentação financeira. Na segunda seção, analisamos as respostas sindicais para a resistência à Reforma, observando limites econômicos e políticos. Por fim, apresentamos reflexões sobre o processo de transição da organização sindical a partir das tendências já visíveis.
