Abstract
O artigo pretende proporcionar o debate acerca dos encontros e desencontros entre o texto literário e o roteiro. A obra literária escolhida para exemplificar as semelhanças e diferenças entre as distintas manifestações artísticas foi De Gados e Homens (2013) é de autoria da escritora e roteirista Ana Paula Maia que desenvolve uma narrativa rápida e ágil com espaços bem demarcados visualmente através de recursos sinestésicos e detalhes descritivos, flertando entre o roteiro e a literatura com a saga violenta de Edgar Wilson, atordoador de um matadouro. A análise será desenvolvida sob a perspectiva de Syd Field (2001) e Doc Comparato (1995) no âmbito do texto roteiristico.
