Abstract
La llamada "novela del narco" ha encontrado en la narrativa del mexicano Yuri Herrera uno de sus más destacados exponentes. El presente ensayo se propone explorar los modos de los que el autor se ha valido para generar una representación de la problemática del narcotráfico en México en las últimas décadas. Analizando los modos en los que el rol del Estado y el Mercado aparecen en Trabajos del reino (2004) y La transmigración de los cuerpos (2013) se intenta dar cuenta del particular modo en el que la problemática social y política del narcotráfico se encuentra representada en la literatura del destacado autor mexicano.
