Abstract
Este artículo expone la investigación previa y la puesta en escena del baile al final de la folla Disparates Concertados, texto de 1735 de Marcos de Castro. Su presentación en el I Congreso de teatro mu-sical español del s. XVIII, (teatro breve), estaba vinculada a la ponencia del profesor Germán Labrador en la que analizaba este fin de fiesta y su baile. El objetivo de mi investigación ha sido identificar el baile descrito en el texto original con los bailes de matachines, ya que la palabra mata-chinerías aparece en el texto que introduce la escena y es consistente con el tipo de acciones, indumentaria y carácter del baile que se describe en el texto.
