Sheikh Sayyed Abd ol-Qader Balkhi was the son of a famous sheikh family that belonged to an aristocratic class. Abd ol-Qader Balkhi, who was one of the sheikhs of Sheikh Murad Buhari Dervish Lodge in the period that covered the last quarter of the 19th century, and the first quarter of the 20th century, had to migrate with his family from the Balk city to Anatolia. Sheikh Sayyed Soleiman Balkhi, who was the father of Abd ol-Qader Balkhi and the people around him, came to Istanbul in 1861 with the special invitation of Sultan Abdol-Aziz. Abdulaziz after living in Konya for four years. The father and the son continued their duties as sheikh until the death of the Sheikh Murad Buhari Dervish Lodge. Abd ol-Qader Balkhi was also interested in poetry. The most distinctive characteristics of Abd ol-Qader Balkhi was that many people from Mowlavi, Bektashi and Naqshism gathered around him; and admired his literature, science, and wisdom. Many people from statesmen, scholars, and sheikhs visited Abd ol-Qader Balkhi in Sheikh Murad Buhari Lodge, and admitted their devotion to him.In this study, firstly, information was provided on Sheikh Murad Buhari Lodge, where Abd ol-Qader Balkhi did the duty of sheikh, on his followers who visited him in the lodge, and on his eldest son, Sayyed Ahmed Muhtar. Then, the relations between the Balkhi family and Jamal al-Din Afghani were discussed briefly.
