Abstract
Abstract Symmetrisch und unsymmetrisch substituierte B,N,B‐Benzo[4]helicene konnten in einem dreistufigen Verfahren, ausgehend von N(tolyl) 3 , in hohen Ausbeuten hergestellt werden (sieben Beispiele). Die unerwartete Reaktivität des Borinsäure‐funktionalisierten 1,4‐B,N‐Anthracens 1 gegen BBr 3 erlaubte die einfache Herstellung der Brom‐B,N,B‐benzo[4]helicene 2 a / b durch intramolekulare Borylierung und stufenweisen B‐Mes‐Bindungsbruch. Umsetzung der reaktiven Verbindungen 2 a / b mit Ar‐Li ermöglichte die hoch divergente Synthese von symmetrisch/unsymmetrisch funktionalisierten B,N,B‐Helicenen. Eine Kombination aus hohen Quantenausbeuten und kleinem ΔE ST ‐Wert unterstreicht das Potenzial der neuen Verbindungen als TADF‐Emitter für organische Leuchtdioden.
