Abstract
У статті йдеться про особливості святкування весілля з понеділка в селах Сумщини в другій половині ХХ ст. На цей час ще були життєздатними деякі давні весільні звичаї. Позаяк головним весільним днем вважалася неділя, головні обряди здійснювалися саме в цей день. Натомість великий інтерес представляють саме звичаї післянедільного, тобто завершального, етапу весільного дійства. Метою статті є опис звичаїв післянедільного святкування весілля, що побутували на Сумщині в середині – третій чверті ХХ ст. В основі дослідження – польові матеріали, отримані під час експедицій в села Сумщини, зокрема Охтирського, Краснопільського, Сумського, Недригайлівського, Буринського та Конотопського районів. Післянедільний етап святкування весілля включав у себе низку звичаїв. Серед найвагоміших – снідання, вимітання хати, катання батьків, молотіння жита, ділення короваю й розпивання вина, циганщина й відвідини батьків молодим подружжям. Для створення деталізованого опису післянедільного святкування весілля необхідні подальші локалізовані експедиційні дослідження.
