Pemberdayaan perempuan merupakan salah satu yang perlu menjadi perhatian dalam pembangunan sumberdaya manusia di desa, Program pemberdayaan perempuan desa berupa pelatihan pengolahan bahan pangan lokal merupakan salah satu upaya pemanfaatan pada sektor pertanian. Partisipasi perempuan dalam pembangunan pertanian dan ketahanan pangan di Desa Kadu Ela Kecamatan Cadasari Kabupaten Pandeglang sangat strategis, khususnya dalam mendukung pengembangan Badan Usaha Milik Pedesaan (BUMDes). Potensi sektor pertanian dan ketahanan pangan yang dimiliki masyarakat Desa Kadu Ela Kecamatan Cadasari menjadi modal utama dalam pengembangan BUMDes di desa kadu ela Kecamatan Cadasari Kabupaten Pandeglang. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong dan hambatan serta peran pemberdayaan perempuan dalam upaya membangun BUMDes melalui pemanfaatan potensi sektor bidang pertanian yang ada di Desa Kadu Ela Kecamatan Cadasari Kabupaten Pandeglang. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa Faktor pendorong BUMDes desa Kadu Ela Kecamatan Cadasari Kabupaten Pandeglang menjadi pembuka bagi keikutsertaan perempuan secara langsung pada pembangunan BUMDes melalui pemberdayaan. Program pemberdayaan perempuan yang sudah dilaksanakan pada tahapan penyuluhan dan pelatihan sudah berjalan, namun belum maksimal pada kegiatan pendampingan, monitoring, evaluasi, strategi promosi dan pemasaran serta kemitraan. Sehingga program pemberdayaan perempuan belum secara komprehensif dan berkesinambungan memaksimalkan potensi sektor pertanian dan ketahanan pangan masyarakat dalam pengembangan pengolahan hasil olahan pasca panen itu menjadi faktor penghambat.
