Il est désormais admis qu’on apprend à écrire non seulement à l’école, mais aussi tout au long de la vie. Il n’en demeure pas moins vrai que des questions essentielles se posent quand il s’agit de l’enseignement postobligatoire. Quelles compétences développer ? Quels modèles convoquer ? Quels dispositifs expérimenter ? L’ouvrage apporte des éléments de réponse à ces interrogations. La première partie porte l’accent sur les modèles qui sous-tendent les formations à l’écriture académique ou professionnelle. La deuxième s’attache aux traces des compétences du scripteur dans des écrits universitaires. La troisième partie est consacrée à des dispositifs innovants. Enfin, un épilogue présente la formation à la didactique de l’écriture de futurs enseignants en Belgique francophone, en France, au Québec et en Suisse romande. La variété des contextes, des scripteurs (natifs/allophones, lettrés/infrascolarisés), des disciplines, des modèles et des dispositifs concernés permet de nouveaux éclairages sur l’enseignement-apprentissage de l’écriture.
