Abstract
Ce livre traite du developpement du tourisme urbain et du tourisme indigene dans la communaute huronne de Wendake, situee en peripherie de la ville de Quebec, Canada. A partir d'une approche interdisciplinaire et en utilisant les methodes de la recherche qualitative, nous decrivons l'etat actuel du developpement touristique chez les Autochtones de la province de Quebec au Canada. Comme resultat de notre recherche, nous proposons un panorama des destinations touristiques autochtones et une analyse spatiale des types d'activites touristiques en milieu autochtone, des entraves a son developpement et de ses perspectives d'avenir au Quebec. D'un autre cote, nous analysons la ville en tant que terre d'accueil de l'industrie touristique et la genese des poles touristiques en milieu urbain. Enfin, nous observons l'evolution de Wendake dans un contexte urbain et les incidences de celui-ci sur le developpement touristique dans la communaute.
