Abstract
The thesis focuses on the condominium in the new Civil Code. Formerly (up to the end of 2013) the condominium was stipulated in a special law. The lawmaker followed the Dutch, Belgian, Swiss and Quebec model where the condominium is a part of a general code. The new Civil Code reintroduces the principle superficies solo cedit, which did not historically go hand in hand with the condominium. In this thesis I highlight the changes and problematic sections of the condominium in the new Civil Code.
