Face aux difficultés de déploiement sur l’ensemble de son territoire, l’État comorien cherche à travers différentes Constitutions à impulser une stratégie de développement qui pourrait concilier les disparités géographiques et les aspirations identitaires des populations de chaque île, dans l’objectif de prévenir et limiter les effets de l’insularisme, lequel constitue une conséquence de l’histoire coloniale et de la situation géographique du pays. Il se manifeste au travers de revendications politiques à visée autonomiste, séparatiste ou irrédentiste, qui compromettent foncièrement le développement socio-économique de l’archipel. L’objet de cet article1 est de mettre en lumière les difficultés spécifiques que rencontre la réflexion sur les concepts de colonisation et de postcolonialisme, appliqués aux cas des Comores.
