Computation Offloading Game for Fog‐Cloud Scenario
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This chapter introduces the fog computing in Internet of Things (IoT) systems and discusses the computation task offloading to fog nodes, which is challenging due to the heterogeneity of IoT devices and applications and highly dynamic IoT environment. It further reviews the existing computation task offloading mechanisms in the literature. The chapter also introduces a set of criteria to evaluate the performance of computing services offered by the fog-cloud computing. In particular, these criteria are used to investigate the performance of computation task offloading mechanisms. The chapter also utilizes a game theoretic approach and models the competition between the IoT users as a strategic game. It investigates the computation offloading game by evaluating the performance of the proposed best response strategy algorithm. The chapter finally evaluates the performance of the proposed computation offloading game in comparison to an offloading mechanism.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
