چکیده مقدمه: راهنمای مشاهده ای Calgary Cambridge یک ابزار شناسایی شناخته شده ارتباط بین درمانگر و بیمار می باشد و شواهد قابل توجهی از روایی، پایایی و سودمندی آن وجود دارد. هدف این مطالعه بومی سازی این راهنما براساس استاندارد سازگاری فرهنگی متقابل Cross-Cultural Adaptation (CCA) به منظور دسترسی به یک پوشش مناسب با فرهنگ و زبان فارسی بود. روش و مواد: این مطالعه متدولوژیک، راهنمای مشاهده ای Calgary Cambridge بعد ازکسب اجازه از نویسندگان اصلی، با استفاده از استاندارد سازگاری فرهنگی متقابل طی پنج مرحله به زبان و فرهنگ فارسی ترجمه و بومی سازی شد. روایی صوری، روایی محتوایی و افزایش دقت و پایایی چک لیست نهایی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. یافته ها: بعد از انجام مراحل بومی سازی تایید روایی اولیه چک لیست نهایی تهیه شده متناسب با فرهنگ و زبان فارسی از نویسنده اصلی و سپس گروه خبرگان مهارت های ارتباطی دریافت گردید. به منظور افزایش در دقت و پایایی چک لیست تهیه شده با مشارکت ۲۰ نفر از رزیدنت های سال آخر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید بهشتی، مشاهده مهارت ها براساس چک لیست انجام شد و شاخص ارزیابی پایایی k مساوی 1.00 شد یعنی از پایایی 100% برخوردار بود. نتیجه گیری: در مطالعات انجام شده بر مبنای راهنمای Calgary Cambridge در ایران، این راهنما فاقد ترجمه مناسب بوده و متناسب با فرهنگ ایرانی و زبان فارسی بومی سازی نشده است و از این رو پوشش مناسبی برای سنجش مهارت های ارتباطی پزشک و بیمار فراهم نمی کند. چک لیست نهایی تهیه شده در این مطالعه، که اولین رفرنس اصلی بومی سازی شده مبتنی بر راهنمای مشاهده ای Calgary Cambridge است به حل این مشکل کمک نموده و پوشش مناسب و کاملی از این راهنما ارائه می دهد. واژگان کلیدی: راهنمای مشاهده ای Calgary Cambridge، بومی سازی، استاندارد سازگاری فرهنگی متقابل، ارتباط پزشک و بیمار
