Cette étude examine les conditions sous-jacentes que rencontrent sept pédagogues opérant en immersion française en Ontario pendant cette période de la mondialisation caractérisée par des mouvements migratoires concourant à l’hybridation des sociétés jadis solidement homogènes. Pour ce faire, les théories psycho et sociolinguistiques permettent d’apprécier les pratiques pédagogiques exemplaires et susceptibles à créer un environnement propice au développement harmonieux et respectueux de nos sociétés de plus en plus cosmopolites. Cette étude se fonde sur l’analyse critique du curriculum ontarien, les observations des salles de classe des participants ainsi que les entrevues effectuées avec eux.
