Abstract
Au centre de la théorie de la signification de l’ancienne rhétorique arabe et de ses sciences annexes, le « Bayān » est le pont qui assure la liaison entre les mots « al-ᵓAlfaḍ » et leurs sens « al-Maᶜānī ». Le « Bayān » permet donc le passage de l’invisible au visible. Il donne au sens sa visibilité et, par ailleurs, sa lisibilité au moyen de l’interprétation. L’action de savoir, dans cet univers cognitif est gouvernée par un voir au delà de ce qui se présente à la vue. De l’« agir interprétatif » se dégage ainsi le contour d’une sémiotique spectrale qui détecte les marques d’un habitus permettant aux acteurs sociaux d’une culture de tisser les bases d’une sémiotisation du vu et du non vu, du visible et de l’invisible. C’est par conséquent dans l’optique d’une réflexion autour des grands thèmes de la pansémiotique arabe et de son fonctionnement que nous nous inscrivons.
