Introduccion: propuesta investigativa para el diagnostico de la cultura existente en Risaralda, sobre aspectos relacionados con los mercados verdes y su pertinente contextualizacion, ademas de la promocion en la transformacion productiva, con el fin de aprovechar eficazmente el Tratado de Libre Comercio vigente entre Colombia y Canada. Metodos: para el desarrollo de la propuesta se han establecido tres categorias que permiten conceptualizar el avance de la misma: en primer lugar se analiza lo concerniente a mercados verdes y el biocomercio que actualmente desarrolla el Departamento; posteriormente se evalua la productividad al interior de las organizaciones con parametros especificos tales como la tecnologia, la filosofia empresarial y los recursos humanos; y en ultimo lugar se encuentra el Tratado de Libre Comercio, examinando las reglas para la correcta interaccion entre mercados, asi como el optimo aprovechamiento del mismo. Resultados: no se tienen aun, por ser una propuesta de investigacion.
