REPERCUSSÕES DA HIDROTERAPIA E DA BANDAGEM ELÁSTICA FUNCIONAL NA QUALIDADE DE VIDA E FUNCIONALIDADE DE INDIVÍDUOS COM QUADRO CLÍNICO DE LOMBALGIA

Abstract
Introducao : Qualidade de vida e definida como uma percepcao do individuo sobre a vida, no contexto da cultura, valores, padroes e preocupacoes, relativos a seus objetivos. Individuos com doencas cronicas, como a lombalgia, exigem um programa sistematizado de reabilitacao e apresentam uma reducao na qualidade de vida por se fazer necessaria, mudancas nas suas atividades de vida diaria. Objetivo: Avaliar as repercussoes da hidroterapia e da bandagem elastica funcional na qualidade de vida e na funcionalidade dos individuos com lombalgia. Metodologia : O estudo foi previamente aprovado pelo CEP Uniaraxa. Foi realizada uma coleta de dados antes e apos a intervencao, atraves do questionario SF-36, o questionario McGill e a Escala Visual Analogica de Dor. Os pacientes foram divididos em tres grupos, sendo um com hidroterapia (G1), outro com aplicacoes de bandagem elastica funcional (G2) e o ultimo associando as duas tecnicas (G3). Foram realizados atendimentos duas vezes por semana, num periodo de 06 meses. Resultados: Houve diferencas significativas nos scores do SF-36 nos itens, capacidade funcional (p=0,0002), aspectos fisicos (p=0,0003), aspectos emocionais (p=0,0036) e na dor (p 0,05), vitalidade (p=0,1489), aspectos sociais (p=0,6333), e saude mental (p=0,4617) nao foi observada diferenca significativa. Conclusao : Os resultados observados sugerem que as tecnicas de hidroterapia associada a bandagem elastica funcional apresentam resultados significativos, refletindo em uma melhor qualidade de vida e funcionalidade, e na reducao global do quadro algico.
