Abstract
Les programmes de formation des enseignants sont majoritairement orientés vers le développement d’enseignants réflexifs. Les formateurs d’enseignants sont-ils eux des enseignants réflexifs, ce que St Arnaud (2003) appelle des « praxéologues » ? Le texte qui suit présente la démarche de praxéologue d’un formateur d’enseignants à la recherche d’autonomie, de conscience et d’efficacité dans son enseignement auprès de futurs enseignants. Sous forme d’étude de cas, cette démarche s’est concrétisée par une analyse d’un dialogue à l’aide du test personnel d’efficacité élaboré par St Arnaud (2003). Cette analyse a permis au formateur de prendre conscience du caractère « intuitif » de ses réparties et d’élaborer des hypothèses d’action pour l’amélioration de son efficacité. Le formateur partage à la fois son questionnement autour de sa démarche de praxéologue et ses sources d’inspiration, tirées de modèles et concepts empruntés à la formation initiale et continue des enseignants.
