Abstract
La popularité croissante et l’importance grandissante du Web dans divers secteurs et pour divers acteurs, dont les acteurs sociaux de la société civile, accroissent la nécessité de son appréhension. Cette dernière est souvent accompagnée de plusieurs questionnements, notamment de la part des chercheur(e)s. Quelle méthodologie adopter et quels outils utiliser, par exemple pour les sites web associatifs ? Ce chapitre interroge et présente une méthodologie d’analyse des sites web associatifs à l’issue d’une recherche sur l’appropriation du Web, par quatre associations environnementales québécoises, dans le contexte du Nouveau management public (NMP). En effet, l’élaboration et la construction, entre autres, d’une méthode d’analyse structurale du Web, adaptée et centrée sur le phénomène d’appropriation et au contexte associatif spécifique en milieu environnemental québécois depuis 2000 (notamment avec la Loi sur l’administration publique) a permis ainsi de confirmer l’idée selon laquelle l’appropriation des technologies numériques dépend moins des potentialités techniques « intrinsèques » de l’Internet et du Web que du sens et des « significations d’usage » qu’y construisent les usagers.
