L'auteur resume une recherche visant a demontrer le rapport entre le niveau en langue des adolescents issus de familles immigrees et leur niveau d'education et leurs resultats scolaires. Cette etude examine plus particulierement cette relation entre la communaute chinoise de Toronto et la maitrise de la langue d'enseignement, l'anglais.
