Abstract
Dans cet article, l’autrice analyse l’interprétation du viol incestueux de Tamar par son demi-frère Amnon (2 S 13,1–22) proposée dans le traité Sanhédrin 21a du Talmud de Babylone. Rabbi Yitzhak suggère de comprendre le dégoût ressenti par Amnon pour Tamar, qu’il vient de violer, à la lumière de l’événement qui lui fait immédiatement suite : un poil pubien de la jeune femme se serait enroulé autour du sexe de l’agresseur, le castrant. Cet article est l’occasion de réfléchir à la représentation du viol et de sa victime dans le texte biblique, mais surtout dans le traité Sanhédrin 21a (TB). L’autrice explore la caractérisation de la Tamar talmudique, en particulier l’« étrangeté » signifiée notamment à travers le lien intertextuel forgé par les rabbins entre Dt 21,10–14 et 2 S 13,1–22 et l’« agressive » pilosité de la princesse. Enfin, elle examine la pertinence de la catégorie de « culture du viol » pour penser la représentation du corps de la Tamar talmudique, un corps d’emblée jugé coupable.
