Abstract
United Nation Childrens Fund dan World Health Organization merekomendasikan pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk menurunkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas bayi. Ibu bekerja cenderung tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif dibandingkan ibu yang tidak bekerja atau ibu rumah tangga. Kurangnya dukungan tempat kerja menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab kegagalan ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja. Cakupan ASI eksklusif di wilayah Puskesmas Sewon II menurun dari tahun 2015 ke 2016 dan menjadi salah satu puskesmas dengan cakupan terendah di Kabupaten Bantul. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan tempat kerja dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sewon II. Metode yang digunakan observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan melibatkan 70 responden yaitu ibu balita yang bekerja. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil studi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara dukungan tempat kerja dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja dengan p-value 0,011 (α = <0,05) dan keeratan hubungan rendah dengan coefficient contingency 0,291. Karakteristik responden yang berhubungan dengan ASI eksklusif yaitu pendidikan, paritas, dan durasi kerja. Tempat kerja diharapkan memberikan waktu, sarana prasarana, dan kebijakan yang mendukung ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja sesuai dengan peraturan pemerintah.
