Abstract
Cet article vise à comprendre des expériences de formation liées au travail du corps dans le cadre du cours Voix et interprétation I offert par Pascal Belleau à l’École supérieure de théâtre (Université du Québec à Montréal) à la session d’automne 2013. Appuyée sur le concept d’expérience (Dewey, 2005) et sur la théorie de l’activité (Engeström, 1987 et 2008), cette recherche qualitative interprétative traite de la manière dont ce cours amène les apprenants-acteurs à ancrer le travail vocal au travail d’interprétation et au travail du corps, à sortir de leur zone de confort, à puiser dans des émotions viscérales, ainsi qu’à nourrir un sentiment de confiance en soi et en l’autre. Ces résultats sont ensuite mis en perspective à la lumière de la théorie de l’activité.
